We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Ljubljana where 5th ranked SlovenianCedevita Ol. (12-8) was defeated by sixth ranked Bosnian Igokea (13-8) 90-85 on Saturday. Igokea made 22-of-26 free shots (84.6 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American point guard Bryce Jones (183-1994, college: Murray St.) who scored 21 points and 7 rebounds. Serbian guard Vasilije Pusica (196-1995, college: Northeastern) chipped in 15 points, 6 assists and 5 steals. Jones is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American DJ Stewart Jr (197-1999, college: MSU) produced 23 points and swingman Jaka Blazic (196-1990) added 15 points and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. Five Igokea and four Cedevita Ol. players scored in double figures. Cedevita Ol.'s coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Defending Bosnian champion moved-up to fifth place. Defending Slovenian champion Cedevita Ol. dropped to the sixth position with eight games lost.
